| My first marathon of the year. It was a really trying experience. At mile 3 I started getting a blister on my left foot near my toes, it really was sore the whole marathon. I really haven't worked on my speed, which always is a problem with my winter training. I felt good about my overall endurance especially through the pain. Even with my struggles with my foot I beat my time from the last 2 years by one minute. I hung on strong and I am pretty happy with the results. |

| I ran up the canyon 9 miles today (uphill , upwind) I felt pretty strong and good about it. I had to run on snow which made it slower. I didn't have the energy I wanted to really push it the last 2 miles but I felt pretty good about my overall workout. |
