Run 50 Marathons before I turn 50 years old, keep times under 3 hours.  Dream of hitting 2:30-2:45 speed range.

Today was a good day.  I felt good at the Start.  I felt strong through 6.  I took it easy through hills Miles 6-9.  I took what the course gave me from 9 - 20, then I hung on and didn't completely fall apart on the last 6.  My slow miles were 7 minutes plus.  My slowest mile was 7:23.  I wish I had more to give but I was very happy to return to sub 3 pace.  It was a good course but a little tougher than I expected.  Overall I am happy with the reesult.  I come away being intent to train harder and work harder on SPEED so I can get some miles in the 5 minute zone, that will get me to where I dream of being at about 2:45 at St. George and Top of Utah.

Wow, it felt great to go out and get my legs moving and move the lactic acid through.  I am excited and ready to get back to training.  I am pumped up and looking to find a good half to work on some speed work.

Wow, felt some energy today.  Felt great to feel the recovery miles come to an end and feel like I am getting back to full strength.  It feels great to get back this quick.

Wow, I started out feeling kinda winded and I couldn't find anyone to join me for my run.  I woke up feeling pretty tired from a really busy stressful work day.  I stuck with my resolve to go long today though and it paid off.  I started off really slow at about 8minute pace up Hobble creek canyon for 10 miles but I picked up the pace as I continued up the canyon and on the way back I resolved to break a 6 minute mile and I did it although not by much I pulled a 5:59 on mile 12 and followed that with a 6:55, that was it for 5's and 6's for the day but it was a good week and I feel like I am pulling speed back out.  I will by trying to put some speed back into my workouts again.   I feel great 1 week after UV Marathon.  7:36 avg pace for the run
